First Step Registered Nursing was proudly founded by Jane Harrington, who currently serves as the Director of Patient Services. Jane received a Bachelor’s Degree from Adelphi University and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Columbia University. In addition to her educational accolades, Jane has accumulated a vast and honorable resume of experience within her field of study.

Jane possesses over 20 years of experience in various realms of Nursing. Her resume boasts mastery of Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care, Nursing Education in Neonatal and Pediatric Nursing, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience in Level 3 Intensive Care Unit, as well as Pediatric Home Care. Jane is more than credible and happy to lend her commitment to those in need.
